About the role

Senior Manager responsible for creating a positive environment of customer interactions, driving performance goals and business priorities, developing other managers, and supporting Store Leader with strategy and decision making within Apple Retail.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team (including Managers), empowering each team member to learn, grow, and achieve performance and developmental goals.
  • Assist with recruiting, training, developing, and retaining a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Actively participate in Floor Leadership by interacting with team members and customers, modeling expected behavior, and ensuring business priorities and exceptional customer service are met.
  • Address customer and team member concerns and escalations, partnering with leadership and People partners when appropriate.
  • Drive business priorities and achieve store performance goals by planning and executing the operational strategy of assigned functional areas and the entire store.
  • Maintain and uphold company policies and procedures, and protect all company assets including confidential information.
  • Perform other tasks as needed.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting differences and fostering curiosity to learn.
  • Demonstrate Apple's values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities.
  • Be a role model for inclusive leadership and build, develop, and retain diverse teams.
  • Take action to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all team members.

Qualifications

  • Have 3 years of leadership experience in retail, sales, or a related field.
  • Be available to work a schedule based on business needs that may include nights, weekends, and public holidays in the retail store, and reliably attend work as scheduled, in line with local laws and accommodations.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English (sign language supported).
