About the role

Role focused on building tests, tools and frameworks leveraging AI/ML to automate and scale configuration and visualization tools for integrated cellular RF products. Collaborates with multiple RF teams internationally to develop tools for RF chipsets used in Apple’s cellular products, with end-to-end responsibility from requirements through to end product.

Responsibilities

  • Develop tools for the configuration of integrated cellular Radio Frequency products.
  • Build tests, tools and frameworks leveraging AI and ML to tackle complex problems and scale automation across cross-functional teams.
  • Gather requirements, design and architecture, and development, delivering end-to-end product.
  • Collaborate with international RF teams to build tools for RF chipsets used in Apple’s cellular products.

Qualifications

  • BSc / MSc / Dipl.-Ing. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience in software development, preferably on RF products
  • Experience applying AI/ML to real-world engineering problems (anomaly detection, data analysis, automation)
  • Strong object-oriented and functional programming skills: Java / Python (Rust is a plus)
  • Proven ability to develop high quality software products
  • Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD
  • Experience leveraging AI/ML to monitor, detect, and analyze anomalies in high-volume data systems
  • Experience with anomaly detection using AI
  • Multithreading and parallel processing expertise
  • Integration, System and End-to-End testing experience
  • Knowledge of 2G/3G/4G and preferably 5G mobile communication technologies
  • Understanding of RF systems and RF building blocks
  • Ability to conduct in-depth design and code reviews
  • Good requirement gathering skills, breaking down projects into tasks
  • Experience working on developer-facing tools or automation frameworks
  • Excellent English communication skills, problem solving, analytical and debugging skills
