About the role

Senior Manager responsible for creating a positive customer experience, driving store performance, developing managers, and supporting the Store Leader with business strategies and decision making in Apple Retail Hamburg.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team (including Managers), empowering each team member to learn, grow, and achieve performance and developmental goals.
  • Assist with recruiting, training, developing, and retaining a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Actively participate in Floor Leadership by interacting with team members and customers throughout the store, modeling what good looks like, and ensuring business priorities are met and exceptional customer service is delivered.
  • Address customer and team member concerns and escalations, and partner with leadership and People partners when appropriate.
  • Drive business priorities and achieve store performance goals by establishing, planning, and executing the operational strategy of assigned functional areas and the entire store.
  • Maintain and uphold company policies and procedures, and protect all company assets, including confidential business, customer, team member, and financial information.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting differences and fostering learning.
  • Demonstrate Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities.
  • Be a role model for inclusive leadership and build, develop, and retain diverse teams.
  • Take action to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all team members.

Qualifications

  • You should:
  • Be available to work a schedule based on business needs that may include nights and weekends, and reliably attend work as scheduled, in line with local laws and subject to any approved accommodations.
  • Be proficient in English and the local language, both written and spoken (sign language supported).
  • Have 3 years of leadership experience in retail, sales, or a related field.
