About the role

Apple Retail Genius able to troubleshoot and repair Apple products in-store, educate customers, mentor team members, and uphold Apple’s service standards. Responsible for diagnosing hardware/software issues, performing repairs, and delivering an exceptional, inclusive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve service concerns for Apple hardware and software.
  • Educate customers on repair options, Apple offerings, and relevant ways to buy.
  • Educate and mentor Genius Bar team members; model exceptional service.
  • Support leadership in providing timely resolution to customer escalations; handle customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor.
  • Identify recurring repair problems and provide feedback to Apple.
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of Apple products, services, and repair processes; support efficient, high-quality repairs.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment and uphold Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity.
  • Frequently handle, lift, and move merchandise safely.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or sales, or related work experience.
  • Visual inspection and fine motor skills to safely perform hardware repairs.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a customer service environment.
