About the role

Lead the development and execution of a focused corporate communications strategy for Brazil, shaping and sharing Apple’s story, values, and impact with targeted media, creators, and key audiences. Manage media relations, local corporate reputation, and contribute to global and local communications initiatives across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead activities with media and content creators in Brazil to manage the company’s corporate reputation in the country and communicate Apple’s contribution locally.
  • Develop and execute a local corporate communications strategy aligned with global initiatives.
  • Strategically plan and execute communications initiatives, identify and manage issues in a fast-paced news cycle.
  • Collaborate with Product PR, Product Marketing, Marcom, Government Affairs, Retail and Legal teams to deliver initiatives that raise awareness of Apple and its values.
  • Establish, expand and build meaningful connections for Apple to amplify corporate and values storytelling to journalists, creators, and local/regional communities.
  • Provide expert knowledge of competitive and regulatory landscape and keep WW PR up to date on market developments.
  • Manage and respond to day-to-day press inquiries and keep media and creator contacts informed of the latest Apple news.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years' experience in public relations, in-house or agency setting.
  • Experience in media relations and a strong network of media and influencer contacts in tech, policy, environment and sustainability spaces.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
