About the role

Technical Specialist role in Apple Retail providing technical support, troubleshooting, and customer education to help customers get the most out of Apple products and services, while supporting high-quality repairs and a positive, inclusive Store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and skilled troubleshooting for all customers.
  • Educate customers on repair options and Apple products and services.
  • Develop knowledge of Apple products, services, and Genius Bar repair processes to support efficient repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve service concerns for select Apple hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to identify recurring repair problems and provide feedback to Apple.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by understanding customer needs and offering product/service recommendations.
  • Educate customers on relevant ways to buy and usage options.
  • Perform other tasks as needed, including supporting customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment and uphold Apple values in daily activities.

Qualifications

  • Availability to work a schedule based on business needs that may include nights, weekends, and public holidays in the retail store
  • Reliably attend work as scheduled in line with local laws and accommodations
