About the role

Senior Software Engineer role on the macOS System Experience team, building system features such as Dock, Control Center, Notifications, Login, Mission Control, Spaces, and Stage Manager for macOS. Focus on navigating large codebases, driving features forward, and solving complex problems creatively with Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain system experience features for macOS (Dock, Control Center, Notifications, Login, Mission Control, Spaces, Stage Manager)
  • Navigate large codebases, drive features forward, and solve complex problems creatively
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and multifunctional teams to deliver macOS improvements
  • Stay forward-thinking and customer-focused, prioritizing work effectively

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Bachelor or Masters of Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Swift, SwiftUI and Objective-C
  • Strong agentic programming expertise
  • Forward-thinking with strong collaboration skills
  • Customer focused with a strong ability to prioritize
