About the role

Engineer on the macOS System Experience team, building system experiences such as Dock, Control Center, Notifications, Login, Mission Control, Spaces, and Stage Manager for macOS. Work with Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C to navigate a large codebase, drive features, and solve complex problems creatively.

Responsibilities

  • Build and contribute to the system experience components for macOS (Dock, Control Center, Notifications, Login, Mission Control, Spaces, Stage Manager).
  • Navigate a large codebase, drive features forward, and solve complex problems creatively.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver the best desktop operating system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Bachelor or Masters of Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Swift, SwiftUI and Objective-C
  • Strong agentic programming expertise
  • Forward-thinking with strong collaboration skills
  • Customer focused with a strong ability to prioritize
