About the role

SAP Test Lead within Apple’s Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) group, supporting planning, creating, scheduling, coordinating, and executing tests for projects within the WW SOS Operations organization. Partners with project managers and development teams to ensure high-quality products and continuously improve testing practices. Manages end-to-end test activities and drives successful releases through user acceptance testing, with a focus on robust data management and test automation strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end test activities, including test strategy, planning, execution, team coordination, and communication.
  • Drive the successful release of system enhancements and new functionalities through effective user acceptance testing.
  • Design and operationalize robust test data management strategies.
  • Develop test plans and facilitate the creation of test cases and scripts across multiple projects of varying sizes.
  • Facilitate end-to-end test scenario creation, bridging various functionalities through manual or automated processes.
  • Negotiate with cross-functional teams and business partners to remove barriers and drive results without compromising quality.
  • Create, maintain, and report on testing metrics, including SLAs and KPIs, while continuously improving testing best practices.
  • Determine the test automation approach and scope for projects, maintaining a comprehensive testing knowledge repository for the BPR team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or test lead positions within the software lifecycle
  • Proficiency with operations and various Supply Chain functions (Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Make to Deliver, Inventory Management, Reverse Logistics)
  • Familiarity with software test automation tools and frameworks (UFT, Selenium, Playwright)
  • Background in data management methodologies for data identification, validation, and maintenance
  • Solid understanding of project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, Iterative)
  • Proficient communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • PMI/PMP certification
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credential
  • Track record of testing with transformations
  • Supply chain technical and application competencies as a techno-functional testing professional
  • Proven ability to work on projects for globally distributed teams in a matrixed, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence and collaborate horizontally and vertically
  • Dedication to delivering great software quickly, efficiently, and with increased quality
