About the role

Margin provides POS and operating system software for liquor stores, helping retailers increase profits. This role is for a new graduate software engineer to join Margin in NYC and contribute to a product bundle including POS, inventory/AI-driven features, eCommerce, delivery, marketing, and employee management.

Responsibilities

  • Have built side projects and have internship experience
  • Experience building well-designed product with great UX
  • Familiarity with backend + cloud infrastructure
  • Strong operational ability to root cause and resolve issues quickly
  • Committed to working in-person from our NYC office 5 days per week
