About the role

We are looking for a Hardware Technical Program Manager to drive our hardware products from concept through production across multiple industries, owning end-to-end program management for complex hardware systems spanning electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and system architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the product development process (PDP) for hardware programs, from early concept and architecture through qualification and production launch
  • Manage multiple concurrent hardware programs, each spanning cross-functional teams across electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, firmware, and system integration
  • Define program scope, schedules, and milestones, and hold cross-functional teams accountable to committed timelines, quality bars, and cost targets
  • Identify technical risks and gaps early, and drive mitigation plans in close partnership with engineering leads
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and contract manufacturing partners to ensure components and subsystems are delivered on time and meet quality requirements
  • Serve as the operational backbone of each hardware program — running design reviews, tracking action items, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
  • Partner with software and systems teams to align hardware and software integration milestones
  • Communicate program status, risks, and decisions clearly to engineering leadership and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in hardware technical program management, with a demonstrated track record of shipping hardware products to production
  • Experience across multiple hardware product lines or industries (e.g., consumer electronics, automotive, defense, construction, mining, or agriculture)
  • Deep understanding of the hardware product development process (PDP), including design, prototyping, verification/validation, and manufacturing ramp
  • Experience managing multiple complex, concurrent hardware programs with competing priorities and tight timelines
  • Strong technical fluency across electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and system architecture — enough to engage deeply in technical trade-off discussions
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers, component vendors, and supply chain partners
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a high bar for documentation and program hygiene
