About the role

Help us improve the security and monitoring of our cloud infrastructure and internal systems. Build and roll out our SIEM platform for centralized security monitoring and threat detection, work on vulnerability management and ISO 27001/SOC 2 controls, and develop security tools and automation using Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

  • Help build, deploy, and maintain our SIEM platform, integrating logs from cloud infrastructure, applications, identity systems, and network devices.
  • Configure monitoring dashboards, detection rules, and alerts to monitor infrastructure health and security.
  • Improve infrastructure security through access reviews, secure configurations, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Investigate alerts and support incident response.
  • Develop and maintain security automation and integrate checks into CI/CD workflows.
  • Support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 controls, audit evidence collection, and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of infrastructure security, networking, Linux, and SIEM concepts.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
  • Practical coding experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, plus familiarity with Git.
  • Curiosity, clear communication, and a practical approach to problem-solving.
