About the role

Maintenance Mechanic for a new project team at the Moab, UT site to assemble, install, and support equipment for new projects, with opportunities to own projects from start to finish and grow skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, and set up equipment for new and ongoing projects
  • Support construction-type projects, from small builds to equipment installs
  • Work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as projects require
  • Plan and carry out small projects independently, from materials to completion
  • Partner with the project electrician and project engineer to bring projects online
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly when things don’t go to plan
  • Keep work areas safe, organized, and compliant with site safety standards

Qualifications

  • Mid-level experience as a maintenance mechanic, millwright, industrial mechanic, or similar
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a proven ability to assemble and install equipment
  • Working knowledge across multiple areas, such as hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, or light electrical
  • Comfort working independently on small projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics
  • A willingness to take on work outside your comfort zone
  • Mining or construction experience is welcome but not required; manufacturing and other industrial backgrounds are a great fit
