About the role

Electrical engineer role focused on commissioning and delivering data center projects for Accenture Construct, with onsite work at client sites and involvement across full program delivery from commissioning to handover.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and review electrical commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules for data center projects.
  • Inspect and validate electrical installations, including HV/MV systems, power distribution, lighting, and emergency power.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical installation standards, government codes, AHJ requirements, and construction health and safety practices.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors, providing technical guidance and commissioning progress updates.
  • Review electrical designs, specifications, submittals, test scripts, and factory and site test reports, while tracking RFIs and resolving technical issues.
  • Conduct quality audits and witness electrical tests to verify compliance with client requirements and data center operational needs.
  • Prepare commissioning documentation and sequence of energization plans, identifying risks and monitoring mitigation for safe testing and energization.
  • Monitor project schedules, equipment deliveries, corrective actions, and documentation approvals.
  • Onsite at client site to enable delivery and cultivate client relationships.
  • Some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering
  • Experience commissioning low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) electrical equipment and systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
