About the role

Data Center Construction Project Manager role based in Campinas, Sao Paulo, onsite with clients and partners, responsible for end-to-end data center construction programs from preconstruction through commissioning and handover, including cost, schedule, risk, quality, and safety management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage data center construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and handover, overseeing scope, budget, schedule, and delivery.
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants, vendors, and client teams to align construction activities with project requirements and milestones.
  • Oversee budgets, forecasts, invoices, accruals, and change orders, addressing cost variances and financial risks.
  • Review construction plans, contractor scopes, and procurement schedules to identify gaps and resolve issues before they affect delivery.
  • Monitor site progress, quality, and health and safety compliance across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical work.
  • Manage project risks, RFIs, submittals, and construction issues, coordinating timely resolutions and escalating critical concerns.
  • Provide clear, integrated cost, schedule, and risk reports to clients and Accenture leadership, supporting timely project decisions.
  • Coordinate commissioning readiness, punch-list completion, and project closeout, traveling to data center sites as required.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in construction project controls
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent practical background
  • Strong knowledge of cost tracking, change orders, and risk fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with Earned Value or resource-based data
  • Background in data center, manufacturing, or complex commissioning projects
