People Operations Specialist
About the role
CoreWeave is seeking a People Operations Specialist to own the global People service queue and lifecycle transactions, triage and resolve employee and manager requests across North America, EMEA, and APAC, and work with People Business Partners, Payroll, Total Rewards, and Legal to provide clear answers quickly. This is a hands-on, high-volume role focused on tackling Tier 1 inquiries, escalating complex matters, executing Workday lifecycle transactions, maintaining knowledge resources, and enabling scalable onboarding for contractors and new team members.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day triage of the global People service queue: review, categorize, prioritize, and route requests from North America, EMEA, and APAC within SLA.
- Resolve Tier 1 inquiries directly, including policy questions, employment verifications, Workday navigation, leave and benefits basics, and general how-to requests.
- Escalate Tier 2, country-specific, and sensitive matters to the appropriate partners with enough context.
- Apply regional guidance where policies differ by country and avoid defaulting to US answers.
- Close the loop with employees and managers on every request.
- Execute lifecycle transactions in Workday (onboarding, offboarding, job/data changes) with audit trail.
- Coordinate with regional Payroll teams and vendors on pay-related requests across pay cycles and time zones.
- Own knowledge base articles and response templates; write, update, and retire content as needed.
- Track queue health by region (volume, response time, resolution time, employee satisfaction) and report trends.
- Propose and implement fixes for recurring issues; support contractors and new team members in the queue.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or HR service center, ideally multi-country experience.
- Experience working a ticket queue in ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Zendesk, or similar, and meeting SLAs.
- Working knowledge of HR fundamentals, awareness of country-specific requirements, and judgment on escalation needs.
- Workday HCM experience executing lifecycle transactions with high data accuracy.
- Clear written communication; ability to convert policy into concise answers and set expectations for time needed.
- Comfort working asynchronously across time zones with flexibility to adjust hours for EMEA/APAC coverage.
- Discretion handling confidential information; strong organization and follow-through in high-volume environment.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Slack.
