About the role

Oversees end-to-end materials planning to ensure uninterrupted production of Figure’s humanoid systems, acting as the link between demand planning and production in a fast-moving hardware environment.

Responsibilities

  • - Materials & Demand Planning: Own module-level demand planning, translate build plans into material requirements, maintain master demand file, analyze yield and consumption trends, develop part allocation plans for constrained supply, manage part change cutovers.
  • - Inventory Management & Optimization: Monitor inventory levels, turns, and consumption rates; drive optimization strategies; own Part Request Approval process.
  • - Clear-to-Build (CTB) Ownership: Own daily CTB reporting; ensure material readiness on the production floor; identify and resolve material constraints; oversee PO releases, ETA tracking, inventory accuracy and reconciliation; support tactical purchasing to mitigate shortages.
  • - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Warehousing, Logistics, Global Supply Management; support executive-level data-driven presentations.
  • - Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, propose and implement improvements to planning accuracy, service levels, and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management preferred
  • 5–7 years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing or complex hardware environments
  • Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, demand modeling)
