About the role

Role focused on designing, building, and deploying AI-powered software across the full product lifecycle for real-world, production-grade applications in government, healthcare, and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Build & Ship Real Products: Design and develop AI-powered features across front-end, back-end, and data workflows. Prototype and ship internal tools and customer-facing applications using modern web technologies
  • Translate Problems into Products: Work with product managers and other engineers to turn customer problems into clear product requirements and integrate AI models into real-world software systems
  • Optimize & Improve: Improve the performance, reliability, and usability of deployed applications. Analyze data, evaluate AI outputs, and iterate based on real customer feedback
  • Make a Real Impact: Own work that modernizes government workflows, improves healthcare outcomes, or optimizes critical infrastructure. See your work deployed and used by real users—not just internal demos

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field in Spring 2027
  • Strong software development fundamentals demonstrated through internships, research, coursework, or projects
  • Experience building software using Python, TypeScript, React, REST APIs, SQL, and cloud platforms
  • Understanding of AI systems fundamentals and product thinking; excited by real-world ML applications
  • Ability to solve ambiguous problems and learn quickly in fast-paced environments
  • Clear communication, collaboration, and ownership
  • Interest in impactful, production-focused work
