About the role

Lead the IT Operations team across Suno's four US offices (Cambridge, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles), owning identity and access management, endpoint management, collaboration tools, office A/V, networking, and zero-trust infrastructure; partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, AI-enabled IT service delivery and ensure reliable corporate IT systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the IT Engineers — set expectations against role standards, provide feedback, conduct 1:1s and performance conversations, and develop people on the IC track.
  • Build the IT Help Desk — define service model, delineate responsibilities at Tier 0 and escalation paths, write job profiles.
  • Own operational outcomes — quarterly plan across IT ops areas with clear ownership and status reporting to leadership.
  • Run change effectively — scope changes, communicate prior to implementation, enable rollback, involve partners early.
  • Scale service as Suno grows — create runbooks and knowledge articles for AI-powered self-service, automate repetitive tasks, manage headcount growth.
  • Manage vendors and partners — MSPs, network/A/V integrators, EDR/MDR providers, and SaaS vendors with performance-based accountability.
  • Lead IT for the West Coast — oversee SF on-site, LA coverage, and collaborate with Facilities on buildouts and moves.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in IT, including 3+ years managing IT engineers or an IT operations team at a high-growth company.
  • Experience building a support function with defined service model, SLAs, staffing, and deflection strategies.
  • Working knowledge across the stack: identity (Okta/SCIM/IGA), Apple-first endpoint management, Google Workspace and Slack, office networking and A/V, zero-trust networking (Tailscale).
  • Strong people leadership with experience hiring, coaching, and performance management across multiple offices/time zones.
  • Clear written communication for executive, business, and technical audiences.
  • Judgment under growth — balance reversible vs irreversible changes.
