About the role

Senior leadership role directing the integrated DoN growth campaign for Shield AI’s X-BAT Family of Systems, coordinating cross-functional GTM efforts across Navy/Marine Corps pursuits, and delivering decision-ready portfolio insight to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own the DoN view. Build and maintain the integrated DoN campaign picture across all X-BAT FoS DoN pursuits: strategy status, critical path, milestones, dependencies, decision points, and campaign health in one authoritative view.
  • Enable GTM leads. Provide templates, playbooks, data, competitive inputs, cost and schedule inputs, and cross-functional access to build and execute capture plans; success measured by GTM outcomes.
  • Synchronize functions. Coordinate engineering, product, export, legal, contracts, finance, government relations, and business operations against a single prioritized campaign plan.
  • Surface conflicts between campaigns. Identify where campaigns compete for same aircraft, test windows, ship or range availability, etc., and present tradeoffs with recommendations to executives.
  • Drive executive decision quality. Run campaign reviews, risk registers, action tracking, and executive dashboards for timely, decision-ready information on bid/no-bid, investment, and prioritization.
  • Steward indirect investment. Track campaign investment, indirect spend, and resource planning against priorities and expected return.
  • Scale discipline. Capture learnings to create repeatable tools, templates, metrics, and playbooks for new campaigns.
  • Support a culture of accountability, urgency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Roll up your sleeves. Lead critical customer responses (RFI, RFP, CSO, etc.) with cross-functional inputs while GTM lead maintains ownership of win strategy and proposal content.

Qualifications

  • U.S. person as defined by ITAR with ability to obtain/maintain DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and SAP eligibility
  • 12–20+ years in capture management, program management, strategic operations, business operations, technical program management, or equivalent leadership
  • Proven success leading complex initiatives with multiple interdependent workstreams across engineering, BD, operations, finance, and executive leadership
  • Working knowledge of DoN funding and fielding processes (ASN(RD&A), NAVAIR, PAE(A), N9/N98, PPBE/POM, OTAs/CSOs/Other rapid acquisition pathways)
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and drive accountability
  • Strong executive communication skills and ability to produce decision-focused dashboards and materials
  • Deep operational rigor in schedules, critical path, milestones, risk mitigation
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments across time zones
  • Understanding of naval aviation dependencies (airworthiness, shipboard suitability, environmental/marinization, test windows)
  • Service-oriented mindset to support GTM leads and know when to Escalate vs. Resolve quietly
