About the role

Technical Expert in Apple Retail focused on extensive troubleshooting, repairs of iPhone and other Apple products, and educating customers on repair options and Apple products and services. Collaborates with team to identify recurring issues and shares knowledge to support high-quality repairs and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs on iPhone and other Apple products as required and educate customers on repair options and Apple products and services.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve service concerns for select Apple hardware and software.
  • Provide excellent service by understanding customer needs, identifying ownership opportunities, presenting product and service recommendations, and educating customers on relevant ways to buy.
  • Work with team leaders to identify recurring repair problems and other service concerns, and provide feedback to Apple.
  • Use extensive knowledge of hardware and software components to identify origins of technical issues and educate others on the team.
  • Perform other tasks as needed, including supporting customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment and demonstrate Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or sales, or related work experience.
  • Ability to visually inspect hardware and fine motor skills to safely conduct repairs.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a customer service environment.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (and French if based in Quebec, with sign language support).
