About the role

Role focused on designing and developing advanced battery and power management algorithms and software for Apple products. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define software architecture and implement innovative battery algorithms, with emphasis on machine learning and battery management systems (BMS).

Responsibilities

  • Develop future BMS technologies with a hardworking team of engineers in a highly reciprocal and multi-functional environment.
  • Develop and commercialize robust battery management solutions for consumer, industrial, telecom or automotive products.
  • Develop new class of battery systems involving algorithms, architectures and products to improve the utility of batteries.
  • Design and develop advanced battery and power management algorithms and software for various Apple products.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including algorithms, software, and system engineers and will define SW architecture.
  • Write SW modules to implement innovative battery algorithms.

Qualifications

  • MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in machine learning algorithms and deep learning applications.
  • Experience programming in Python or C++.
  • PhD and 10+ years relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with SW requirement definition and SW development process.
  • Experience in the design and architecture of machine learning inference pipelines and underlying infrastructure.
  • Experience in using AI coding tools and creating agentic AI applications.
  • Experience in innovative and creative ML feature development in battery or consumer electronic domain.
