About the role

Senior Manager at Apple Retail responsible for creating a positive customer environment, driving performance and business priorities, developing other managers, and partnering with Store Leader on strategy and decision making. Leads a team, participates in Floor Leadership, handles escalations, and ensures policies, assets, and inclusive culture are upheld.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team (including Managers), empowering each team member to learn, grow, and achieve performance and developmental goals.
  • Assist with recruiting, training, developing, and retaining a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Actively participate in Floor Leadership by interacting with team members and customers throughout the store, modeling what good looks like, and ensuring business priorities are met and exceptional customer service is delivered.
  • Address customer and team member concerns and escalations, and partner with leadership and People partners when appropriate.
  • Drive business priorities and achieve store performance goals by establishing, planning, and executing the operational strategy of assigned functional areas and the entire store.
  • Maintain and uphold company policies and procedures, and protect all company assets including confidential business, customer, team member, and financial information.
  • Perform other tasks as needed.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting differences and fostering curiosity to learn.
  • Be a role model for inclusive leadership and build, develop, and retain diverse teams.
  • Take action to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all team members.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of leadership experience in retail, sales, or a related field.
  • Be proficient in written and spoken English (sign language supported).
  • Be available to work a schedule based on business needs that may include nights, weekends, and public holidays in the retail store, and reliably attend work as scheduled.
