About the role

QA leadership role at Apple MQA to assure high quality requirements across supplier chain with measurement, monitoring, and continuous improvement; involves cross-functional collaboration, data-driven initiatives, and contractor management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead MQA activities in one LOB (line of business), covering multiple vendors
  • Set up regular compliance audits and ensure issue closure on time
  • Best practice sharing cross vendors/LOBs to continually improve vendor performance
  • Proactively collaborate with cross function and set up effective communication with LOB leaders
  • Lead MQA cross LOB initiatives, such as data integration system, data programs, efficiency improvement, which should benefit their LOB and extend best practices to other LOBs
  • Contractor management (Contractor planning, PO tracking, recruiting, onboarding support, assignment and monitoring, contractor evaluation and budget control)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above, familiar with mechanical manufacturing process or module (battery, acoustic, etc) process is required
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing process and quality control; working knowledge of mechanical quality and reliability concepts, manufacturing operations management, and mechanical machining/surface finish/assembly technical knowledge
