About the role

Role focusing on developing low-power flow algorithms and automated tools for Silicon Technologies, leveraging AI/ML to enhance power analysis, optimization, and verification flows across RTL, synthesis, and place-and-route within mobile SoCs at Apple.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve low-power flow algorithms using AI and machine learning.
  • Create automated tools and capabilities for the Silicon Engineering Power team.
  • Architect, implement, and validate advanced low-power design and verification workflows.
  • Shape low-power strategies for emerging technologies.
  • Develop flows/tools for power analysis, optimization, and verification integrated into RTL development/verification, synthesis, or place-and-route (P&R).
  • Leverage various AI tools to innovate and enhance solutions.
  • Collaborate with design teams to address queries, resolve issues, and ensure adoption of methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Solid grasp of VLSI designs and SOC design processes
  • Enthusiasm for scripting and leveraging low-power expertise to innovate software solutions
  • Enthusiasm for leveraging AI/ML to innovate low-power methodologies and flows
  • Experience in flow development and algorithm design using Python/Perl/TCL
  • Demonstrated proficiency in contemporary software testing and development methodologies
  • Familiarity with low-power principles (e.g., low-power design techniques) is advantageous

Skills

Required:VLSI design and SOC design processesScripting in Python/Perl/TCL
Nice to have:AI/ML for flow optimization
