About the role

Manager responsible for leading the team that enables data collection from billions of devices while preserving user privacy. Leads platform supporting device telemetry, customer interactions, and partner reporting; shapes technical direction, execution, and engineers’ growth in a privacy-focused, Apple-scale data collection system.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive long-term technical roadmap for your team, translating ambiguous business objectives into tangible milestones
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, fostering alignment across engineering, platform, and infrastructure teams to deliver complex, high-impact projects
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering leaders to define the product vision, platform strategy and developer experience
  • Partner with Program Management to ensure clarity across requirements, deliverables and timelines
  • Provide both technical and career mentorship, empowering your team to succeed

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success developing talent, setting clear goals, and building high-performing teams
  • Experience driving product features, functional specifications, and development schedules
  • Experience developing and leading teams that build large distributed systems
  • Proven collaborator with a history of delivering results through and with partner teams
  • Ability to represent team, technology and roadmap to senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience with user privacy and regulations such as CCPA, DMA or GDPR
  • Experience in data and platforms, familiarity with batch and streaming technologies
  • Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to express technical ideas to both technical and non-technical partners
  • Proficiency in high-level languages such as Java, JavaScript or TypeScript
