About the role

Engineer to develop Apple compute SoCs power management system, collaborating with Design, Physical Design, Verification, Platform Architecture and Software teams to define micro architecture, implement hardware, and integrate into a multi-chip system.

Responsibilities

  • Define power system micro architecture
  • Implement hardware including RTL and UPF coding
  • Synthesize digital design to latest process nodes
  • Participate in the implementation process
  • Work with partner design teams, Physical Design, verification, Platform Architecture and Software teams to define the power system and integrate it into a multi-chip system
  • Familiarize with power management techniques including PMIC control schemes, chip power state transitions, SoC boot process and HW security solutions

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in digital design (preferably in SoC)
  • BS.c/ MS.c in EE/ CE
  • Strong Verilog/SystemVerilog skills
  • Experienced with scripting using Python, Perl, TCL
  • Familiar with design practices (clock/voltage domain crossing, low power design and DFT) - Advantage
  • Familiar with chip development tools (lint, synthesis, STA)
  • Familiar with verification methodologies
