About the role

Senior Fullstack Java Engineer in Apple’s global eBusiness team focused on implementing innovative and scalable enterprise solutions. Role involves end-to-end development in a fast-growing environment, leveraging Java/J2EE, RESTful services, microservices, modern front-end frameworks, and containerized deployments to support Apple’s Sales and Operations infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop distributed computing applications and data-intensive enterprise architectures.
  • Collaborate with UI designers, business teams, architects, and operations from concept to deployment.
  • Build and maintain scalable, responsive, accessible web interfaces and back-end services.
  • Design and consume RESTful APIs and work within microservices architectures.
  • Participate in Agile development processes and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Provide integration solutions across technology stacks and platforms.
  • Apply latest cutting-edge and AI/ML technologies where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in computer science or equivalent field with 3+ years of IT experience in web application design and development.
  • Strong expertise in Java/J2EE-based web application development.
  • Full stack hands-on development with Java/J2EE technologies.
  • Experience designing UIs with responsiveness and accessibility.
  • Experience in building and consuming RESTful services.
  • Experience with microservices and container-based deployment (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with ReactJS and Angular for dynamic web interfaces.
  • Experience with Hibernate and Spring/SpringBoot.
  • Experience with Unix, Oracle, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Proven ability to manage projects with on-time delivery and working in Agile environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
