Responsibilities

  • Advising on clearance, prosecution, and dispute work across a broad range of trademark matters
  • Managing a large global trademark portfolio and coordinating with foreign counsel
  • Handling complex global disputes and solving highly complex issues creatively while managing legal risk
  • Collaborating with other trademark attorneys and specialists to support Apple’s trademark practice
  • Prosecuting trademark applications at the USPTO and leveraging knowledge of USPTO procedures
  • Learning and adapting to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Delivering practical business advice with strong oral and written communication

Qualifications

  • 8+ years as a practicing attorney in trademark law with extensive US and international experience in clearance, prosecution, and dispute work
  • Significant experience prosecuting trademark applications at the USPTO, with insight and knowledge of USPTO trademark procedures
  • Experience managing foreign counsel on international clearance, prosecution and disputes
  • JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
