About the role

Apple Ads - Platform Specialist on the Search Ads team, focusing on promotion and discovery across Apple Services. Acts as a strategic account manager and consultative seller across pre- and post-sale lifecycle, solving complex campaign issues, and driving growth for performance advertisers in the mobile and app developer ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with clients and agencies in the performance marketing space
  • Maintain a high level of outreach via email, phone and meetings to ensure a strong business pipeline
  • Develop a strategy for long-term success across your portfolio of clients & prospects
  • Act as a thought leader with both clients and agencies
  • Work closely with your Manager & Platform Specialist team to ensure accurate execution and alignment with customer objectives
  • Use internal & external data sets to understand how to best help grow your customer's business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent, MBA a plus
  • Experience in performance media sales with at least 4 years experience using a self-serve type platform
  • Managed India-based clients with domestic and export business in your previous roles
  • Experienced in online, digital, or performance marketing, ideally within the mobile ecosystem and data-driven marketing environment
  • Solid expertise in performance marketing, including campaign optimization, measurement, and growth strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills - both in person and virtually
  • Over 5 years in performance account management or sales, with a proven history of expanding existing client portfolios in search and mobile advertising
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the mobile app ecosystem, with strong preference for mobile gaming experience
  • Rigorous data fluency, with expert command of Excel/Numbers to dissect performance data and build compelling commercial narratives
  • Challenger mindset, guiding advertisers beyond their comfort zone with proactive, insight-led recommendations
  • Proven agency collaboration and ability to navigate complex agency hierarchies and direct-advertiser relationships
  • Platform mastery, experience in self-serve ad operations, campaign optimization, client training, and troubleshooting
  • India market expertise and understanding of local digital dynamics as well as cross-border import/export business models
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills for high-impact business reviews with senior stakeholders
  • High operational rigor, meticulous attention to detail, proactive prioritization, and ability to execute under tight timelines
  • Completion of the official Apple Ads Certification is strongly preferred
