About the role

Internship focused on evaluating how Large Language Models can accelerate baseband debugging. Design and build an evaluation framework, develop end-to-end tooling, define metrics, and document findings and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build an evaluation framework that compares different strategies for applying Large Language Models to baseband debugging (from LLMs consuming pre-analyzed, structured debug data to LLMs interacting with a debugger on raw coredumps and traces).
  • Develop tooling to run these approaches end-to-end.
  • Define metrics to compare cost, latency, and effectiveness.
  • Document requirements, experiments, and results clearly.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of AI/LLM concepts (prompting, tool/function calling, agent skills, evaluation metrics)
  • Software Development (e.g. Swift, C/C++)
  • Knowledge of embedded systems and CPU architectures (e.g. ARM) is a plus
  • Ability to document requirements, experiments, and results clearly
  • Proficiency in software engineering tools (e.g. git, Jenkins)
  • Interest in applying AI to software engineering and developer tooling workflows
  • Collaborative, innovative and creative skills
  • Fluent English (English speaking work environment)
