About the role

Software Development Engineer role focused on internal device cloud provisioning and lifecycle management software, collaborating across Apple hardware and OS platforms to enable new products and features and maintain high standards for existing ones.

Responsibilities

  • Join a high-performing software development team within the Services engineering organization building lifecycle management software providing the core provisioning functionality for our device cloud.
  • Work across a broad range of expertise from low-level kernel debugging (USB, virtualization, power, networking subsystems) to high-level system design and user experience integration.
  • Collaborate with teams across the globe from nearly all Apple engineering organizations to integrate software with features in iOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS, and macOS.

Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science / related fields and 6+ years of experience or MS with 4+ years of experience.
  • Familiarity with a programming language well suited to systems programming (C, C++, Rust, or Swift for Servers).
  • Programming, Networking (HTTP, TCP/UDP, DNS, TLS), Distributed System Design.
