About Timeplot
Timeplot tracks tech company data, uncovers industry trends, and turns hindsight into foresight. We read the tech job market the way it actually moves, one posting at a time, and turn it into a live picture of who's hiring, who's freezing, and where the market is heading.
Who it's for
- Job seekers searching open roles at the startups we track, with salary ranges, remote policy, and skills for every role, and researching which companies are actually growing.
- Recruiters and talent teams who want to know which teams are expanding, freezing, or quietly backfilling before they reach out.
- Investors and VCs who read hiring as a leading indicator, tracking headcount momentum across a portfolio or a whole sector.
What we track
Every job posting comes straight from the source, directly from the companies themselves, not from aggregated job boards or third-party feeds. We turn that data into signals for each company and across sectors:
- Hiring velocity: how fast a company is opening and closing roles
- Role mix: which functions and seniority levels are in demand
- Tech-stack shifts and in-demand skills
- Hiring freezes, slowdowns, and layoffs as they show up in the data
The newsletter
Every week we publish one data-driven story on the most interesting hiring trend we found. Each issue digs into one company or sector: what the job-posting data shows and what it means. No fluff, just the numbers and the story behind them.
