About the role
Back-end focused role at PingLend (Pesto) building fintech platform for collateral-based credit cards; contribute to core services, dashboards, AI-assisted appraisals, and support rapid product delivery for underbanked customers.
Responsibilities
- Continue the back end of our dashboard web app so that customers can see credit they have, objects stored, cards they have, increase credit lines by adding new objects and shipping methods.
- Build AI-based tools to aid appraisals and support handling new kinds of collateral.
- Take ownership of features from design to implementation, focusing on backend development, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in backend engineering (as per description).
- Ideal technical skills: Python development, RESTful API concepts, microservice development.
- Experience with Flask, SQLAlchemy, and AWS cloud services is a plus.
- Strong self-starter and independent working skills; ability to own features end-to-end.
