About the role
Capy is hiring a Founding Engineer to develop and maintain the backend and infrastructure for large-scale products used by thousands of developers, while also contributing to frontend UI. The role emphasizes building high-quality software, fast delivery, and strong product understanding at a startup backed by top investors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend and infrastructure for large-scale products
- Collaborate across frontend to implement cohesive, high-quality UI
- Drive outcomes with strong product sense and ownership
- Ship quickly in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year full-time software engineering experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript (Next.js) for backend development
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, QEMU, AWS and GCP for infrastructure
- Strong product sense and track record of driving outcomes
- Excellent communication skills
- High ownership
- Love shipping quickly and being in fast-paced environment
