Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack
About the role
Senior Full Stack Engineer at Cinder building infrastructure for moderation, AI agents, workflow automation, and enterprise-grade trust & safety tooling.
You’ll influence architecture, ship features to enterprise customers, and own end-to-end delivery from data models to UI in a high-scale, data-intensive environment.
Responsibilities
- Work on AI agents that review content against customer policies within a durable workflow engine.
- Develop a Restate-based workflow engine for durable execution and build new nodes for moderation pipelines, NCMEC reporting, and enforcement actions.
- Contribute to review queue tooling UI for moderators and investigators (QA overrides, labeling, forms, routing).
- Build analytics dashboards (React frontend with Django/GraphQL API) to monitor program performance.
- Create two-way user communications integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) to surface conversations without leaving Cinder.
- Ensure reliability at scale by defining SLIs, improving pipeline throughput, and owning on-call for critical systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years building production software across the stack (Django or similar backend, React or similar frontend).
- Experience with relational databases and message/event systems.
- Proven ability to identify customer problems and deliver end-to-end solutions beyond ticket-by-ticket work.
- Experience with high-throughput, data-intensive systems and performance tradeoffs at scale.
- Fluency and opinionated approach to AI tooling in software development.
- End-to-end ownership of features from data model through API to UI.
- Clear written communication in PRs, Slack, and customer-facing docs.
