Staff Product Designer
About the role
Ironclad is seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead end-to-end product design for a complex contract lifecycle management platform, collaborating with engineers and product managers to deliver intuitive, data-driven experiences across drafting, negotiation, signature, and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Act as a guide for delivering an intuitive user experience in the product.
- Champion the user by representing their interests at every level of the company.
- Orchestrate design process across multiple teams and projects concurrently.
- Utilize the usability lab to validate product designs with data and evidence.
- Synthesize a shared vision and visualize it for the team.
- Collaborate extensively with product managers and engineers.
- Communicate through visual artifacts; leverage design as a superpower.
- Engage in hands-on software/UI design for a complex, rich application.
- Help develop design talent and culture in a flat, co-ownership environment.
- Model strong leadership in line with company values.
Qualifications
- +10 years of experience designing apps at a tech company.
- Shipped exemplary work into a large market.
- Phenomenal UI designer with evidence of elevating others' UI craft.
- Fluent with web, iOS, and Android UI design patterns.
- Understanding of software architecture; coding ability is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of a company.
- Player-coach with experience fostering growth and development in others.
- Continuous learner who proactively seeks feedback.
