About the role
Building a uniform data pipeline for ingestion and storage of transaction data across billing providers, optimizing integrations, and designing for scale in a payment and tax compliance platform.
Responsibilities
- Own all billing integrations across billing providers (Stripe, Chargebee), ERPs (Rillet, Campfire) and our standalone API.
- Architect plans for a uniform data pipeline managing >1B records.
- Define a uniform data model for transaction data.
- Work directly with leading tech companies to set up billing systems.
- Implement and build out the data pipeline and integrations.
- Optimize data pipeline for speed and efficiency.
- Design the next evolution of the data warehouse for analytics.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Python and Django.
- Strong skills in designing, architecting, and building data systems.
- Very strong attention to detail, especially with numbers.
- Experience with modern data stacks and building complex software from scratch.
