About the role

Hands-on product designer with UX/UI focus, experience in design systems and 2+ years in product design for scalable web applications. Role based in Bengaluru, India, full-time, visa for US citizens/visa required, salary ₹7 - ₹12 INR.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define product goals and requirements, ensuring the user’s perspective is integral throughout planning.
  • Design workflows, wireframes, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity mockups to present design solutions.
  • Design with the user in mind, tailoring solutions to user needs.
  • Liaise with users, researchers, and cross-functional teams to ensure a unified understanding of design needs.
  • Participate in design critique sessions to provide and receive feedback.
  • Conduct user interviews, testing sessions, card sorting, affinity mapping, and both qualitative and quantitative tests.
  • Execute swiftly in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of the entire user journey from ideation to final production.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in product design, particularly for scalable end-user and business web-based applications.
  • Proficiency in UX and UI, end-to-end product design, familiarity with Figma, and experience implementing and maintaining design systems.
  • Experience with design systems and contributing new components to a design system.
  • Strong prototyping and experimentation bias.
  • Impressive portfolio showing design process and problem-solving across platforms.
  • Willingness to learn, experiment, and own projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
