About the role

Senior Product Designer at Decagon, focusing on inventing and shaping agent UX across chat, voice, and authoring interfaces for autonomous AI agents in a B2B SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

  • As an early and senior member of the design team, own initiatives end to end from discovery and scoping through launch and adoption.
  • Turn ambiguity into clarity, framing problem spaces before jumping to solutions.
  • Design concepts balancing vision, craft, speed, and business potential with structured reasoning and design rationale.
  • Collaborate in small autonomous project teams pairing with engineers and product managers.
  • Interview customers, translate learnings into the roadmap, and ship: new features and refinements to key flows.
  • Build foundational design systems to enable faster movement.
  • Prototype in Figma and AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code), in collaboration with the codebase to validate ideas.
  • Shape team culture, hiring, and ways of working as a founding member of the design team.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years as a product designer, with 2+ years at similar scale and complexity.
  • Experience with complex systems, B2B SaaS, enterprise products, and products where you’re not the primary user.
  • Track record of driving design from discovery through launch independently while balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
  • Extremely strong visual and interaction craft; ability to explain ideas and align with cross-functional partners.
  • Fluency in Figma and AI-powered design tools; prototyping skills that show ideas quickly.
  • Curiosity and hands-on interest in AI; direct AI product development experience is nice but not required.
  • Ownership mindset and ability to work in a high-empowerment culture.
