About the role

Harvey’s Legal Engineers apply their legal experience to explain how Harvey’s AI solutions fit day-to-day legal workflows for customers, supporting sales with tailored demonstrations, customer discovery, and accreditation of value for law firms and in-house legal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with lawyers at existing and prospective customers to understand and address their workflow challenges, and demonstrate the value of Harvey’s AI solutions.
  • Establish credibility as a legal expert in solving customers’ specific legal problems (e.g. researching databases, drafting and analyzing provisions and documents, analyzing briefs and filings, corporate governance, due diligence).
  • Lead product demonstrations tailored to various law firm practice groups and in-house legal teams, validating Harvey’s value and showcasing relevant features.
  • Partner with marketing to develop content resonating with lawyers and practice areas.
  • Act as the Voice of the Customer to inform sales strategies and synthesize feedback for the product team from a legal perspective.
  • Tailor introductions of new solutions to customer needs.
  • Enhance Harvey’s market perception as credible and helpful in applying AI to legal work.
  • Conduct research and analysis on customers and competitors.
  • Travel to customer offices and company locations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to practice law in England & Wales
  • At least 3 years of experience practicing law at a top-tier UK law firm
  • Executive engagement skills and presence with ability to build credibility with decision makers
  • Outstanding presentation skills for legal and executive audiences
  • Strong understanding of legal processes and challenges faced by legal professionals
  • Curiosity about AI’s potential in the legal industry
  • Sales or customer-facing experience is a plus; experience managing law firm client matters and relationships is favorable
