About the role

Develop and maintain web applications for Hang's loyalty platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance user interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test desktop and mobile web software applications or systems.
  • Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications.
  • Implement features and user interfaces to optimize performance of user-facing products.
  • Interface with customers and stakeholders to understand business needs and identify potential technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with other engineers through peer code reviews and documentation.
  • Create build specifications and PRDs for projects.
  • Lead projects from PRD to deployment, ensuring code quality, testing, and production deployment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience.
  • 3+ years specifically owning a React/NextJS project.
  • Experience with scaling front end state/cache and handling large data loads.
  • Initiative to improve overall code quality.
  • Experience owning UI from start to finish, including third-party integrations.
  • Strong communication skills and understanding of frontend-backend interactions.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and manage scope.
