About the role

Senior role leading vehicle attribute teams within Zoox’s Vehicle Integration group to define and validate performance, safety, and passenger experience for next-generation autonomous vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional vehicle attribute teams (e.g., vehicle dynamics, NVH, thermal, energy, safety, ergonomics) to deliver key program milestones for Zoox’s next-generation autonomous vehicle platforms.
  • Define the vehicle performance of Zoox’s next-generation autonomous vehicles to meet program requirements.
  • Partner closely with Attribute Leads to define development plans, align priorities, and ensure seamless execution across engineering disciplines.
  • Champion strategic decision-making by balancing performance, cost, mass, safety, and timing to achieve optimal balance and integration of vehicle attributes
  • Deliver performance targets, identify gaps, and drive data-based root cause analyses and resolution plans
  • Prepare and present attribute status updates for program reviews and leadership gates, ensuring risks and trade-offs are clearly communicated
  • Drive initiatives such as defining and developing test assets and methodologies to validate vehicle-level requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Engineering
  • At least 10+ years of experience in vehicle attribute development or integration
  • Deep technical understanding of vehicle systems, validation, and cross-functional integration
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, drive decisions, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading and guiding a vehicle development program
  • Skilled in data analysis, documentation, and reporting; proficiency with Smartsheet, Jira, and Google Workspace
