About the role
Forward Deployed AI Engineers work directly with customers owning Gen AI strategy and implementation, building end-to-end workflows, taking them to production, and solving real-world problems at scale. Role involves extending Palantir's footprint into new markets and problem spaces opened up by Gen AI.
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end workflows and take them to production for real-world client problems.
- Interact with customers to understand their needs and set their AI strategy.
- Own delivery of high-stakes projects in small teams, similar to a startup CTO role.
- Implement LLM-based solutions and production-grade Gen AI workflows.
- Contribute learnings from field work back to Palantir's AIP product suite.
Qualifications
- Past experience building solutions with LLMs and a deep understanding of Gen AI landscape.
- Strong foundation in Machine Learning basics (Evaluation, Training, Problem Decomposition).
- Strong engineering background with related fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Machine Learning.
- Strong coding ability in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% to client sites.
