About the role

FDSEs work directly with customers to understand problems and design/implement solutions using Palantir platforms. Roles involve end-to-end delivery in small teams, on-site with customers, tackling high-stakes projects across critical domains.

Responsibilities

  • Work in small teams with minimal supervision and own end-to-end execution of high stakes projects.
  • Discuss architecture with fellow engineers, wrangle massive-scale data, code custom web apps, speak with customer executives, and establish strategy for the team.
  • Apply problem solving, creativity, and technical skills to help organizations use their data to drive real impact.

Qualifications

  • Strong engineering background (Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics or related)
  • Experience with logistics, materiel, sustainment, aviation, or readiness analysis is a plus
  • Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
  • Strong coding proficiency in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in mixed technical/non-technical teams and adapt to rapid changes
  • Ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision
  • Willingness and interest to travel as needed
  • Active US Security Clearance at or above Top Secret (or willingness to obtain/upgrade)
