About the role

Palantir internship role in Production Infrastructure focusing on large-scale data-driven infrastructure, contributing code to Rubix, Apollo, Mission Manager, and core platform capabilities used by civil and defense agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Own every phase of the product lifecycle—from generating ideas and designing prototypes to executing features and shipping releases
  • Work with dedicated mentor and cross-functional teammates to uncover real customer problems and deliver solutions
  • Contribute high-quality code to Rubix and Apollo, platforms deployed at major institutions
  • Help shape Mission Manager, Palantir's internal-infrastructure business line
  • Build core capabilities used by civil and defense agencies to power infrastructure
  • Provide the substrate on which Palantir deploys Foundry and Gotham
  • Contribute within Production Infrastructure teams (Environment Platform, Apollo, Signals)
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers and reliability engineers
  • Engage with customers and vendors to deploy Palantir software in sensitive environments

Qualifications

  • Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics
  • Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
  • Experience coding in Java, C++, Python, JavaScript or similar languages
  • Planning to graduate in 2028 and this will be the final internship before graduating
  • Active US Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance
