About the role
Software Engineer role within Palantir's Production Infrastructure, contributing to Rubix, Apollo, Mission Manager, and core infrastructure used across civil, defense, and research domains. Hybrid full-time position in Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities
- Own every phase of the product lifecycle—from generating ideas and designing prototypes to executing features and shipping releases—while being paired with a dedicated mentor.
- Work with Environment Platform (Kubernetes-based PaaS), Apollo, and Signals to deliver production-grade infrastructure and observability tools.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and reliability engineers to uncover customer problems and deliver solutions.
- Engage with customers and partners, including potential field work, to put software into users' hands.
Qualifications
- Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
- Experience coding in Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
- Active US Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance
