About the role

Internship role in Palantir’s Foundations organization focusing on building shared infrastructure that underpins Palantir Foundry, Gotham, and Apollo platforms. Interns contribute to Backend/Frontend/Storage/Developer Infrastructure through feature development, improving developer experience, scalability, and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Building features to improve the developer experience for other Palantir engineers
  • Improving the scalability and reliability of Palantir’s platforms
  • Participating in the product lifecycle from idea generation and design to execution and rollout
  • Collaborating with technical and non-technical counterparts to understand problems and build infrastructure

Qualifications

  • Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics
  • Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
  • Experience coding in Java, C++, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages
  • Planning to graduate in 2028 and this internship being the final internship before graduating

Skills

Required:Programming in JavaTypeScriptProgramming languages
Nice to have:Programming in GoC/C++
