About the role

A senior full-stack engineer role at a remote AI healthcare fintech company, focusing on building healthcare infrastructure, integrating clinical workflows, and developing high-performance software.

Responsibilities

  • Build high-performance frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript
  • Design and implement real-time, privacy-aware APIs and microservices in Java
  • Work with LLMs and third-party APIs to generate intelligent summaries and recommendations
  • Integrate with healthcare platforms (e.g., EMRs, PMs, clearinghouses) through APIs or user interfaces
  • Optimize for speed, reliability, and usability across a variety of workflows
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and compliance teams to ensure our tools are secure, HIPAA-compliant, and user-friendly.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience writing production Java (Spring Boot preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience across the stack (frontend/backend/cloud)
  • Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling
  • Experience working with Redis, AWS infrastructure, and real-time APIs
  • Familiarity with LLMs, AI tooling, or interest in integrating smart agent workflows
  • A bias toward shipping fast, pragmatic decision-making, and iteration
  • High autonomy and ownership, capable of architecting, implementing, and scaling solutions from scratch.
