About the role
Food Runner responsible for efficiently delivering food from the kitchen to the dining room, ensuring proper presentation and collaboration with kitchen and waitstaff.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently transport food orders from the kitchen to the dining room, ensuring timely delivery and proper presentation.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu and identify and correct any order discrepancies.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Possess a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Contribute to a positive and teamwork-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an upscale restaurant setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry heavy plates.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
